01What it does

What WildTrack Inc does

Mission

To improve endangered species monitoring to protect endangered species, focusing on non-invasive, cost-effective and community friendly methods, ultimately towards mitigating human wildlife conflict and stopping the illegal trafficking of products from endangered species.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Programs

  1. WildTracks Professional Wildlife Management program advances non-invasive wildlife monitoring, biodiversity assessment, and conservation technology through footprint identification, machine learning, and field-based research. A central focus in 2025 was WildTracks collaborative security and conservation initiative in Botswana, conducted in active partnership with the U.S. Army and the Botswana Defence Force (BDF). This initiative applies AI-powered footprint identification technology and traditional ecological knowledge to strengthen both human and wildlife security in one of Africas most ecologically significant regions. The work directly addresses the illegal trade in endangered species a recognized threat to national and regional security, with wildlife trafficking increasingly identified as a source of financing for transnational criminal organizations and armed groups. 2. WildTracks ConservationFIT program promotes community-based conservation by integrating traditional ecological knowledge (TEK), education, and conservation technology. During 2025, the program engaged local trackers, biologists, students, military personnel, and community partners in South Africa and Botswana through training, field research, and collaborative conservation projects. WildTrack also enhanced its digital platform to support data collection, communication, and knowledge-sharing among participants, strengthening local capacity and community involvement in wildlife conservation. 1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of WildTrack Inc’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of WildTrack Inc's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $281 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
