Programs

  1. Talberth, sol communications: grant to help support a research report by john talberth that has been commissioned by the battle creek alliance and sol communications. Sol communications inc is a 501(c)(3) ngo dedicated to environmental and social projects that bring together people of many ethnicities and backgrounds. The report will estimate the average annual ghg emission associated with logging, road building, and potentially land use conversion using data from 2000-2021 in shasta and siskiyou counties. For comparison purposes, it will also estimate the average annual emissions associated with wildfires. The report will then estimate a range of climate damages associated with the annual average ghg emissions from logging, road building, and land use conversion in the two-county area. The sutdy will aid our mission of protecting the healthy forests in our area.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $188 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
