The mission of The SuperYou FUNdation is for youth and adults to express themselves fully and authentically by celebrating the "superhero" qualities in themselves and others. Through writing, presenting, critical thinking, collaborating, music, dance, theatre and art, participants connect to their unique "superpowers and tap into their personal strength to overcome the obstacles they face, collaborating on social good "missions" to positively uplift their communities, and creating a world that is empowered, inclusive, and kind.

Programs
Creation of a "SuperYouman" Web series and Community: We celebrate the "superpowers," bravery, authenticity, and resilience of over 100 diverse individuals who have been bullied or have felt "othered" through an inspiring video series and website (www.superyoumanlife.com). We have professionally curated these powerful true stories of people who hail from different backgrounds, abilities, and identities --LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, differently abled, navigating various mental health issues, body issues, and/ or who have experienced racism, sexual abuse, trafficking, trauma, addiction, ageism, sexism, depression, and crippling grief. By sharing these "pain to power" stories, we are both empowering the person being showcased to own their authentic "superhero" selves and "wear their scars with pride," as well as, we are creating impactful, educational testimonial material that will to be used to inspire the at-risk and marginalized global youth and adults we serve.
$0 spentCape-Making Empowerment Workshops for Marginalized Youth and Adults: Our committed and passionate "SuperYouman" volunteer team have expanded the SuperYou reach throughout New York (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Long Island) by implementing cape-making workshops infused with writing, declaration, music, dance, theatre, and art, inspiring and empowering over 650 LGBTQIA youth and adults, special needs youth, and women in trauma and domestic violence centers.
$0 spentInternational Programming: The SuperYou FUNdation programming continued its international programming and partnership with Kingswood Arts in London, inspiring creativity, inclusivity, and kindness towards oneself and others, for at-risk and low-income 5th and 6th grade youth. Students and their caregivers joined together in family bonding storytelling and cape-making workshops to amplify kindness, connection, listening, and respect.
