What Skate for the 22 Foundation Inc does
Mission
The skate for the 22 foundation was formed to reduce the tragically high number of veteran suicides (on average, 22 per day). We provide opportunites for hockey, learn to skate, and skills development sessions, all at no cost to our players, with the mission to get veterans back into a supportive team environment.

Program
We provide a supportive team hockey environment at no cost to any veteran. We offer learn to skate/skills development programs and play multiple league/ exhibition games. We have grown to three teams with players from maine, new hampshire, and massachusetts. We continue to offer assistance and financial aid/scholarship programs for families of veterans who have committed suicide.
