What Safebeat Inc does

Mission

The organization's primary exempt purpose is to educate and improve awareness of sudden cardiac arrest and sudden cardiac death. The organization will work to educate and facilitate proactive prevention of sudden cardiac arrest by cardiac arrhythmias through "heart screening", with resources for treatment after detection and to support those who have lost a loved one from a sudden cardiac arrest.some of the organization's goals are to provide ekg heart screenings to students at every public high school, provide follow-up testing and care for students as needed, including free care for the uninsured and under-insured, train students in cpr and provide each school with an emergency action plan.

As stated on its FY2021 Form 990-EZ.

Program

The organization continually updates/enhances its website to provide the general public a significant resource for the education, prevention and treatment of sudden cardiac arrest. Additionally, the organization provided heart screenings for middle and high school students at no charge and has successfully identified various student athletes with potential underlying cardiac conditions to be medcially treated accordingly.

The first program described on its most recent Form 990-EZ.

Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.

How concentrated its funding is

SAFEBEAT INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 100% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund SAFEBEAT INC.
