What Shrewsbury Boosters Association Inc does
Mission
The shrewsbury high school athletic boosters association is a charitable, non-profit organization whose purpose it is to encourage enthusiastic support and interest in shrewsbury high school and middle school athletics to award scholarships which contribute to the post-secondary education of graduating seniors to contribute to the advancement and needs of athletic programs in those schools to lend support to the director of athletics
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.
Program
Shs boosters is a club that fundraises all school sports and assists each team in fundraising for a specific need. All money raised goes directly back to all athletics for the sole purpose of meeting the needs of all sports. Boosters have provided all teams with new uniforms, equipment, and supplies needed for their specific sport. We also fund pre-season and post-season expenses to ensure teams can continue to compete when the seasons budget ends. Boosters also help to promote team leadership by sending captains of individual sports to leadership summits, having them be part of our decision-making process with vendors for uniforms and equipment, and leading the teams in our fundraising efforts. We provide a website in conjunction with the school that gives dates, times and agendas of our meetings and all sports events throughout the year.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2020, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2020, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2020 to 2021, from $196k to $232k (+18%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
