01What it does

What Russian Encouragement Ministries does

Mission

Provide economic and spiritual help to impoverished areas

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Programs

  1. Russia - Due to the continued conflict and war in which Russia was involved, we did not have any missionary travels in 2025, instead we provided funds as necessary to continue our usual activities. In Kamchatka we continued the support of the aged-out orphan children that we have supported for over 27 years. In Vladivostok we supported the local pastors and churches and provided much needed funds for supplies to go to orphanages, rehab centers and nursing homes as well as providing support for programs with the poor and lower social economic people, of which there are many these days.

  2. Kenya - In 2025 the country remains in turmoil, but we did send two missionaries to assess and assist in the activities of our interim missionary that lives there full time. Funds were given throughout the year for support of staff of the Bible teaching facility and for continued construction of such. Funds were used to feed children and provide basic school supplies and teaching materials.

  3. Belarus / Nuteki - In 2025 we sent one missionary to assess and assist in the Steiger Missionary School through cooperation of the Belarus /Nuteki members. Funds were provided in support of this month-long teaching seminar held in St, Petersburg. Funds were also used for pastoral support. The Belarus / Nuteki group ministered with music and street events for thousands of youths in Russian speaking countries during 2025.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of RUSSIAN ENCOURAGEMENT MINISTRIES’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of RUSSIAN ENCOURAGEMENT MINISTRIES's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $168k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
