01What it does

What Rebuilding Together Sheboygan Inc does

Mission

To provide low-income households basic needed repairs to stay warm, safe and dry at no cost to the home owner.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Programs

  1. We provided free home repairs to 26 households affecting approximately 55 individuals. These are low-income households that are either financially or physically unable to complete the repairs themselves. We have been repairing homes for low-income, disadvantaged Sheboygan County residents since 1998 (elderly, disabled, veterans, single parent households, and households with young children). We use a 25-point checklist to bring applicant homes up to our standards for a safe, warm, and dry living space. A sampling of the types of repairs we do include the following; install ramps, replace unsafe stairs, replace windows or doors, repair roof leaks, install smoke or CO detectors, install GFCI outlets, install grab bars, and small plumbing repairs.

  2. Part III line 29. For households that do not meet our qualifications or whose needs are beyond our ability to serve them, we provide referrals to other organizations in Sheboygan county that could potentially assist them such as Habitat for Humanity.

The 2 programs described on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ. Program spending in total: $0.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

72% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund Rebuilding Together Sheboygan Inc.
