01What it does

What Pool Days does

Mission

Support of the community swimming pool to help keep the cost of admissions, swim lessons, and other programs affordable.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. During the year, Pool Days had a fundraising event to help support the community swimming pool that services the Limestone Township, population of 18,357 (2020 census) and other nearby communities, providing a safe environment for youth and families. Approximately 250 volunteers made this fundraising event possible by donating nearly 3,000 volunteer hours of service to the organization. Additionally, the organization provided a cash grant of $30,000 paid directly to the Limestone Township Pool to help offset the costs of the pool programs to the youth and families.

1 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 1% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Where its funders are

POOL DAYS draws 100% of its grant income from funders outside Illinois, across 1 state in all.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $5 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
