The North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society (nanos) is the only organization dedicated to the advancement of neuro-ophthalmologic education and information in north america. In march of 2024, nanos sponsored its 50th annual meeting, in honolulu, hi. The on-demand content of our meeting was available for almost 6 months after our in-person meeting, till september 30. The educational meeting includes symposia, workshops, hands-on training, platform and poster presentations, and discussion of cases and best practices in neuro-ophthalmic research, basic science, and patient care.nanos uses multiple data sources to measure the impact of its educational activities on learners and on the discipline of neuro-ophthalmology. These measures reflect professionals' need to examine current practices, evaluate the appropriateness of educational activities in order to improve their levels of knowledge of neuro-ophthalmology basic science and clinical practice, competence in diagnosing and treating neuro-ophthalmic disease, and performance in diagnosing and treating neuro-ophthalmic diseases.the society recognizes outstanding work and provides best abstract awards for platform and poster…
