What Lucky Dog Rescue at the Ranch does
Mission
Lucky Dog Rescue at The Ranch aims to give underdogs an opportunity to show the world their SHINE. Giving them time, patience, love, a healthy environment, boundaries, socialization, assessment, and basic obedience training. Diligently setting up the animals for SUCCESS and finding their fur-ever family.
As stated on its FY2023 Form 990-EZ.
Program
Now caring for about four (4) adoptable dogs at a time; providing rehabilitation, vetting, housing, and training. Focus is on each individual rescue and their specific needs. Limiting the number of intakes (dogs) to ensure proper quality of care, efficient use of resources, reduce financial costs, and increase the likelihood of adoption. Provide hospice care for dogs; vetting, providing comfort care, and end-of-life care. This might be direct with a local shelter or through other non-profit rescue groups. As of 2020, we will start accepting 2 hospice dogs at a time (so that they keep each-other company). Help the community and other rescue warriors by offering networking, dog training, assessments, microchips, donation of supplies, education, and short-term fostering. We also sponsor spay/neuter to approx. 3-5 dogs per year. Continue assessing, networking, & training service dog candidates to donate to people in-need. Continue apprenticing under a dog trainer to provide skills for Lucky Dogs and other rescue dogs that I choose to sponsor.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of LUCKY DOG RESCUE AT THE RANCH’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of LUCKY DOG RESCUE AT THE RANCH's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $1k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
