01What it does

What Love Dogs Rescue and Foundation Incorporated does

Mission

Love Dogs wants to end the killing of homeless dogs through adoption and free or low-cost spay and neuter. We use the creativity and problem solving skills of Silicon Valley to save the lives of as many dogs as possible.

As stated on its FY2020 Form 990.

Program

Dog Adoption Program: We rescue and find new homes for dogs that are at public shelters and find new homes for them. We also pay the medical bills of dogs that are at public shelters and are in need of medical care. We provide medical care to the dogs before they are adopted. We also assist in locating other rescue organizations to take dogs from public shelters.

The first program described on its most recent Form 990, which lists programs largest first by expense.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of LOVE DOGS RESCUE AND FOUNDATION INCORPORATED’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of LOVE DOGS RESCUE AND FOUNDATION INCORPORATED's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $385 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
