01What it does

What Lane County Duii Victim Impact Panel does

Mission

The purpose of the lane duii victim impact panel is to educate court mandated offenders arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants about the impact their behavior has on other individuals in the community. Victims of impaired drivng crashes and family members, law enforcement and others affected by an individual choice to drive impaired are utilized to present in-person panel meetings to offenders. An online option is also available. In 2025, 1,175 individuals participated in our program. Offenders are referred by a court or other agency and required to listen to the speakers, watch video presentations and learn about making life-saving choices regarding sober or impaired driving. The revenue from the fees pays administrative expenses, allows the program to support organizations and individuals with like-minded goals.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. This program is offered year-round. The in-person victim impact panel meetings that we offer are held monthly, and the online victim impact panel is offered at all times. We continue to receive monthly referrals to our program from Lane area courts. With the amount of impaired driving referrals increasing, we maintained our monthly timeline of delivering our services without interruption. We continue to recruit new speakers and volunteers to help us in the monthly service. Our Teen driver focused, in-person victim impact panel is currently in development and plans to launch are in October 2026. The organization achieved an 80 percent compliance rate and served 1,175 individuals.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of LANE COUNTY DUII VICTIM IMPACT PANEL’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of LANE COUNTY DUII VICTIM IMPACT PANEL's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $102 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
