01What it does

What Kentucky Association of Secondary and College Admissions does

Mission

To serve college bound students and to improve their access to higher education.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990-EZ.

Programs

  1. Annual conferences provided training to new high school counselors so they are prepared to assist students in making college selection choices, finding scholarships and financial aid. Our organization was able to train hundreds of high school counselors and college admission personnel and gave both groups the opportunity to network

  2. Ccie college counseling information exchange. This is for high school counselors to check out how college admissions works, go on campus tours, etc. So that they can go back to their high schools and consult with the prospective students.

  3. Nacac fair - this is an opportunity for students and parents to attend a national college fair and have exposure to colleges and universities locally, regionally and across the nation

The 3 programs described on its FY2024 Form 990-EZ.
