What Fuel the Drive Foundation does
Mission
Fuel the drive is devoted to helping kids fuel their drive and personal growth through sport and education by providing financial support to break down traditional barriers to entry for those in financial need.
As stated on its FY2022 Form 990-EZ.
Programs
Fuel the drive made it possible for approximately 23 kids to play golf that otherwise wouldn't have been able to, more than twice the number of kids' lives impacted when compared to last pga jr league registration fees range from 475 - 525 and the cost of golf clubs ranges from 269-399 depending on the size and number of clubs purchased. Ftd covers the entire registration fees for qualifying kids and where necessary, the entire cost of golf clubs.
$19,643 spent87% of program spendingFuel the drive hosted three topgolf sessions to introduce under-served kids to golf as a potential feeder program for its pga jr. Sponsorships. Each session was attended by pga professionals to provide basic instruction. Approximately 50 kids and their families attended the three events.

Who funds it, year by year
Grant support over time, funder by funder — shade shows the grant size each year.
1 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 22% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

How concentrated its funding is
FUEL THE DRIVE FOUNDATION leans on a few funders — its largest provides 78% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.
the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left
“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of FUEL THE DRIVE FOUNDATION's grant income comes from Colorado funders.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $6k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

These figures are read directly from IRS Form 990 / 990-PF e-file XML: this organization’s own return for FY2022 (financials across 2022–2022), and the filings of 2 funders that report grants to it. “On record” means captured in the filings we have parsed — a funder that does not e-file, or whose grant detail is not itemized, will not appear.
