01What it does

What Friendship West Faith Formula does

Mission

To provide services to those who are in need while assessing their social and human necessities for empowerment toward self-improvement and transformation of their current condition. The organization meets the needs of individuals and families by providing groceries, clothing, assistance with utility bills, rental and mortgage payments.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. To aid in alleviating immediate hunger in food-insecure households. We have a food pantry for this population to shop at no cost. Snacks are provided to some schools to support students over the weekend when school is out.Clothing: We provide quality and choice-based clothing. The shopping experience is with dignity. Clothing eliminates the attire barrier with interviewing for a job or attending school. We pay utilities, and rent or mortgage assistance to prevent immediate crises (like homelessness or health hazards) and restore dignity to families in financial distress.

How concentrated its funding is

FRIENDSHIP WEST FAITH FORMULA leans on a few funders — its largest provides 78% of grant income and the top three 98%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

88% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund FRIENDSHIP WEST FAITH FORMULA.
