This series and educational materials will be made available to the public free of charge via the global distribution of the series, distribution of educational materials via our education partners (including TED-Ed), and an online hub for all outputs (series and educational materials) related to this program. We received grant funds of $2,500,000 on behalf of this project, which was produced by an established film and TV production company under Folklight's oversight and with our administrative support, in the manner that is standard for documentary film fiscal sponsorships. This program is estimated to be completed with measurable outcomes in or around 2027. We received in-kind sponsorship for this program from Land Rover (the donated use of their vehicles) and Aputure (the donated use of their specialized lighting equipment). This fiscal sponsorship was Folklight's first program after the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic had halted all previous programs.
