What FARMacyWV does
Mission
The mission of FARMyacy WV is to support patients with chronic disease, especially type 2 Diabetes by providing fresh locally grown produce as well as culinary and nutrition education for both treatment and prevention
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.
Programs
Provision of fresh produce for multiple FQHCs, hospitals, and private physician practices for 15 weeks at $25/patient /week purchased from local farmers, growers and aggregators. The produce distribution was set up in a farmers market style which allowed the participants to select their own produce and interact with the farmers supplying the produce as well as health facility staff present at the pick up. An educational class (nutrition and culinary skills) was provided directly after the produce pickup for 45 minutes weekly for the first 9 weeks of the program. Laboratory data, HgA1c and lipid profiles were collected pre and post program as well as surveys meant to elicit how the patient progressed over the course of the program. Such information such as food insecurities in the home, knowledge of produce consumption, preparation, and changes in eating habits were elicited via these surveys. An estimated 530 patients were served via this program in 2025.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2024, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2024, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2024 to 2025, from $525k to $151k (−71%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
100% of FARMacyWV’s revenue is contributions — more reliant on donations than three-quarters of its peers (94% for the typical peer).
