Mission

Enabling Movement Foundation is a 501 c (3) organization established to help support the health and wellbeing of the disabled population by providing community programs with specialized equipment to enable safe movement. These programs support all ages and diagnoses. The specialized adaptive equipment assist the disabled individual?s movement, thereby offering some of the same opportunities as ablebodied individuals have for exercise, movement and recreation.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Programs

  1. Cruising Cyclers Adaptive Outdoor cycling program allows the disabled, any age of level of disability, to experience the joy of cycling on the outdoor trails at the same speed as ablebodied individuals by utilizing our specialized adaptive equipment. This program provides equal movement opportunities to all with our specialized equipment. Movement is so important to our overall health and wellness. In 2025, we had 85 adaptive cycling rides; 70 were regular season rides, 15 were special event rides. We served all ages and levels of disabilities. Our riders age range was from 11 years old to 70 years old, with mildly impaired disabilities to severely impaired. Diagnoses included autism, ataxia, cerebral palsy, sci, stroke etc. All riders enjoyed rides ? most were repeat riders. The number of cycling rides increased 25% from the previous year.

  2. The Movemore March Adaptive Gym Pilot program is a mini-version of the adaptive gym we hope to build in the future. We have partnered with Special Abilities of North Texas and are offering an adaptive gym with specialized equipment for the disabled to utilize. This specialized equipment, in lieu of muscle strength, gives the disabled the ability to maximize their movement potential. Movement is so important to overall health and wellness. In 2025, Our Adaptive Gym engagement was limited, but we hope to increase awareness in 2026 to increase utilization. There were approximately 10 people that utilized the gym; 5 were repeat users

The 2 programs described on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ. Program spending in total: $0.

1 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 0% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

How concentrated its funding is

ENABLING MOVEMENT FOUNDATION leans on a few funders — its largest provides 100% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund ENABLING MOVEMENT FOUNDATION.

Where its funders are

100% of ENABLING MOVEMENT FOUNDATION's grant income comes from Texas funders.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $25 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
