El Batey is a non-profit organization committed to creating safe and engaging spaces for our youth. Our services center family education culture and traditions as the cornerstones for a thriving and healthy Puerto Rican community. Our vision is to build a community of possibilities. Where we have all the capacity expertise programs leaders and wealth required to end unnecessary suffering and create an alternative future.

Folkloric dance instruction percussion classes for both kids and adults. Participants learn the rich history and connections of their African and Indigenous heritage through the native cultural musical expressions called Bomba and Plena.
