Mission
Doing good well, inc. (dgw) is a not-for-profit that will deliver high quality research and philanthropic investment options to address some of our most pressing social issues (namely, homelessness, food security, early childhood education, and gun violence). Dgw will use a "portfolio approach" to philanthropy, allowing donors to fund a group of organizations working together to reach a common goal with collective impact and measurable outcomes. Through research and engagement with donors, doing good well seeks additionally to work with donor advised fund (daf) sponsors to motivate daf account holders and others to set strategic intent and increase activation of their philanthropic resources.

Dgw will play a three-fold role in these collaboratives: (1) building the collaborative by identifying organizations with the appropriate subject matter and geographic focus and bringing those organizations together around a specific set of goals; (2) providing grants to the collaborative's organizations to fund the activities in furtherance of those goals; (3) gathering information regarding the impact of the collaborative and using that information to inform donors of the direct results of their gifts and to adjust the goals and plans of the collaborative.fye december 31, 2024 was the initial year of operation for doing good well that was approved by the irs as a 501 (c)(3) on december 30, 2024, effective may 20, 2024.
