01What it does

What Creede Center for the Arts does

Mission

The mission of the Creede Center for the Arts is to offer art, perspectives on nature, and communal experiences that enhance the lives of local residents, attract new visitors, and drive economic growth in the historic city of creede, colorado.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. 2025 was a transformative year for the Creede Center for the Arts. Most notably, we purchased the historic old high school-securing a permanent home for arts and culture in our community. We engaged an architectural firm and general contractors who are actively developing renovation plans to bring the space to life. Our education programs and community outreach expanded significantly, welcoming more participants and deepening local partnerships. This milestone year laid a strong foundation for thoughtful growth, positioning the center to broaden access to the arts and serve as a lasting cultural anchor for creede.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $39k arriving through sponsors registered in 2 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
