01What it does

What Big Island Rendezvous & Festival Inc does

Mission

1800's fur trading camp reenactment held in october with crafts & trades, music, games and food of the time. Educate public about life of early settlers of the area. First two days of festival exclusively for area school students. Total attendence approximately 11,000.

As stated on its FY2026 Form 990.

Program

  1. In addition to part one summary. Total attendence includes approximately 2,000 school students during education days (first two days of festival). Total attendence is an estimate due to family passes sold which can be used for an entire family instead of purchasing indiviudal admission tickets. The organization receives a substantial amount of donated services from volunteers, which are used mainly during the time leading up to the event and the event itself (first weekend in october). Some donated time is used through out the year. This annual event is held the first full weekend in october. Event is held at a local city park that has minimal parking area so attendees are bussed in from local county fairgrounds where they park.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of BIG ISLAND RENDEZVOUS & FESTIVAL INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of BIG ISLAND RENDEZVOUS & FESTIVAL INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $94 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
