What Archway Station Inc does
Mission
Archway stations mission is to provide psychiatric rehabilitation services to adults recovering from serious mental illness and services to adults with developmental disabilities. Archway also serves children overcoming serious emotional and/or behavioral problems. The foundation of services is our belief that the children and adults using services are first and foremost people. The success of our service rests on the honoring and celebration of our shared humanity. When a persons illness or disability impacts functioning at home, work, school, or socially, archway provides skills, supports, and resource acquisition to enable the person to be successful and satisfied. The best services are those that are accessed quickly; address health and safety; build upon a persons strengths; and target specific barriers. Supports can be phased-out or reduced based on a persons movement toward independence. It is important to remember that archway services are only a bridge for people to use to get
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.
Programs
Dda residential program - the program utilizes a fee for service plan based on a state issued rate schedule. The state calculates funding based on the actual number of days/units used in the previous week and pays the organization based on the previous week's attendance.
$2,456,838 spent$3,255,613 earned by the program25% of program spendingPersonal support services (supported housing/ children adolescents and young adults) - mobile flexible services for adults, teens, and young children provided by a staffing team assigned to support people who live in their own home, apartment, or with another caregiver. Typical services for adults include: support with home management, finances, medications, food, and access to other services. Typical services for kids and teens include teaching and support with: anger management skills; coping skills; self- esteem; social skills; and independent living skills; as well as other services. Face to face contact is usually provided 2-4 times per week, but can be increased/ decreased according to need. The provider is reimbursed a fee for the services rendered in any particular month, based on a state issued rate matrix and the number of allowable encounters made that month.
$3,298,896 spent34% of program spendingCommunity residential rehabilitation (24 hour/14 hour) - these time-limited services for adults are provided in a home owned or leased by the agency. A staffing team provides on-site support as needed in a 24-hour environment. Some residential services are not 24-hour depending on the person's needs. These services are generally more intensive than supported housing. The provider is reimbursed a fee for the services rendered in any particular month, based on a state issued rate matrix and the number days the individual lives in the home that month.

On-site services include available classes that aid in the supports listed under the program service descriptions above, as well as providing the ability to socialize within the community. The ability to provide on-site services enables the use of blended billing when being reimbursed via the state-issued rate matrix, which increases the fee that will be reimbursed if no on-site services were provided.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2020 to 2021, from $3.3M to $6.3M (+91%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Government-grant reliance: 2018 95% · 2019 32% · 2020 3% · 2021 3% · 2022 24% · 2023 2% · 2024 14% · 2025 11%. Grants only. Government contracts and fees sit inside program revenue.

Who funds it, year by year
2020 → 2023: the base narrowed from 2 funders to 1 funder, grant income fell $75k → $73.
1 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 0% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

How concentrated its funding is
ARCHWAY STATION INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 100% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.
the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left
Largest funder’s share by year: 2020 100% · 2021 100% · 2022 100% · 2023 100% — broadly stable.
“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of ARCHWAY STATION INC's grant income comes from Maryland funders.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $252 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
