  2. Sacramento UNITY Program. Dedicated to promoting solidarity among Asian-Latino-Black-Native communities, the program also nurtures a new generation of empowered leaders committed to driving transformative change through public service. This initiative is hosted in partnership with Sacramento Mayor Pro Tem Mai Vang. The program equips students with the tools to cultivate confidence, discipline, and essential skills for navigating high school, preparing for graduation, and succeeding in college. Speakers serve as role models, inspiring students to pursue their own success and become community leaders. Success stories shared by these role models inspire students to tap into their own abilities.

  3. Southern California Mobilize Youth Leadership Program. The Mobilize Youth Leadership Program provides students with resources, skill-building exercises, and support networks. We help prepare students to graduate high school and become change agents in their communities. Junior and Senior students from Los Angeles and Orange County High Schools will be invited to participate in a five-week summer youth leadership program.

  4. Bay Area Mobilize Youth Leadership Program. In 2018, with the support and leadership from Aimee Eng, president of the Oakland Unified School District, we launched our Bay Area formerly East Bay program to empower Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander youth in the region. Junior and Senior students from Bay Area High Schools will be invited to participate in a five-week summer youth leadership program.

1 of 3 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 0% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $19 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
