Programs
The 1st Annual Clyde A. Poag Health Conference sought to explain the importance of, and provide some, health services to the underserved communities in the greater Nashville area. Partnering with local physicians and health facilities allows AIM-TN to play a unique role in promoting health and disease prevention by educating individuals and families to receive the care necessary for healthier lives. The conference provided health education to over 40 attendees.

We believe that preparation for tomorrows careers should start early in the educaitonal process. Approximately, 50-100 young men are enrolled in our career readiness program at a given time, and through partnerships with corporate and civic organizations, we were able to deliver the following Academic Engagment, ACT/SAT Prep Classes, Interview Skills Workshops, College Tours, Career Day Events connecting students with industry professionals, Leadership Development, Mentorship, Financial Literacy, Personal and Social Development. Students who complete the program, and accepted to a qualified college or university are also eligible for scholarship awards.

AIM-TN partners with the MNPS HERO Program Food Pantry by providing enough food items to stock the pantry for a complete month. The pantry provides food for homeless families with students in the public school system. Our contribution provides support for approximately 35 families.
