Regranter (intermediary)
An organization that both receives and makes grants, sitting between funders and the charities doing the work.
A regranter, or intermediary, is an organization that takes in grants and grants money out again. Donor-advised funds, community foundations and fiscal sponsors all do this. They sit between the original funder and the charity that ultimately spends the money.
Grant money that lands on a regranter has not yet reached the work, and some of it passes to a further intermediary before it is spent.
