To improve the phyiscal, emotional and academic well-being of underserved school communities by providing sustainable mindfulness education and mindful movement education to staff and students on a school-wide basis.smp provides training to underserved school communities in the Philadelphia school district on a school-wide basis. The five phases of the smpeaceful school program include: the mindful teacher immersion (7 weeks), the mindful classroom community training (14 weeks), the mindful teacher training (10 weeks), integration oversight (yearlong), and ongoing yoga classes.
