Funders to approach for The Council on Aging of Etowah Co

Primary exempt purposeto educate senior citizens on health, wellness, and independent living issues and improve their quality of life. Program service accomplishmentsmonthly meetings were held at various senior citizens centers across the county, and health fairs were conducted. Clients receive educational information about issues such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, copd, cancer, arthritis and alzheimers. Clients also have the opportunities to receive health check-ups. These meetings are intended to enable the clients to change their lifestyle and to improve their quality of life. Clients were also provided free dental service.
