Program Service AccomplishmentsChristian-Themed Music Concerts-Presenting the broad sweep of the Christian message to the public is the goal of these concerts. Helping people in need make a commitment to, or at least come to peace with, a spiritual path guided by love, the central Christian message, which is also key to the work of Renewal House Northwest (RHNW). Graduates of RHNW man a booth at the concerts and may take the stage to give testimonials about their journey and about the road to recovery and sobriety that they traveled with the help of RHNW. Photo displays of RHNW and its programs are prominently displayed at a large booth in the lobby. It is the hope of RHNW that people in need will be moved during these concerts to seek out a source of the kind of support, comfort and inspiration that the recovery program of RHNW offers. Homelike Residential Recovery Program-RHNW offers an immersion retreat into the 12-Step Recovery Program as a design for living. It provides a loving and supportive family atmosphere where drug and alcohol rehabilation can begin or continue. For people who have relapsed after drug and alcohol treatment, residential or outpatient, RHNW offers a program. For people who have completed detox or residential treatment and are looking for the next step in recovery, RHNW offers a program. It is not medical, therapeutic, or psychological treatment, but a supportive, educational program. The staff and volunteers of RHNW distilled a veritable lifetime of 12-step experience down to a program that can be presented in 30-day blocks of time. Our presenters have over half a century of experience with 12-step based recovery, as well as decades of treatment center work, but their focus is always on the steps at the RHNW. Members share their experience with the 12 steps, honestly discussing their struggles and perhaps their previous difficulties in practicing the 12 steps in their lives. Guests are exposed to 12-step meetings of all types and introduced to potential mentors or sponsors, both at the house and in the meetings. Five days a week, real-world examples are presented of how others have lived the steps by sharing their personal experience with recovery through the process of applying the 12 steps in their lives. The success rare has exceeded all expectations: of people who have stayed at RHNW for 30 days or more, 82.3% are staying sober. For people who have stayed for 60 days or more, 91% are staying…
