The league of women voters Minnesota a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization committed to civic engagement, with a mission to empower voters and defend democracy. Membership is open to all genders age 16 and up. Through our partnership with lwv united states and 33 local leagues in communities across the state of Minnesota, we encourage informed and active participation in government, register and inform voters, educate the community through civic events and candidate forums, work to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influence public policy through education and advocacy.
