Funders to approach for Hands of Christ a Duluth Cooperative Ministry Inc

The Duluth co-op, is a faith-based ministry, that brings our community together to provide food, emergency assistance, and hope to neighbors in need. We serve people in need of all races and national orgin in Duluth ga, zip codes of 30096 and 30097. In the last seven years, the Duluth co-op has seen a seven-fold increase in the number of people seeking food and other assistance. In total, 5,439 families (23,003 individuals) received help last year. Clients are able to pick up food twice per month, have access to financial aid, clothing and furniture referrals, holiday programs as well as one-on-one support from our caring volunteers. If needed, we also provide lyft rides to the co- op. Due to the generosity of our surrounding community, the estimated value of food distributed was 570,555.
