Primary Exempt Purpose: Bailadores de Bronce promotes the beauty and richness of Mexican traditions through music and dance in the Pacific Northwest. We create a bridge of understanding among all people by sharing our culture, preserving our traditions and instilling pride in our youth. PART III, LINE 28: The Da de Muertos Committee organized and presented a free community celebration over a weekend close to November 1 and 2. Through the work of dedicated volunteers, the committee created an opportunity for the public to experience and learn about Da de Muertos traditions, including their cultural, symbolic, and historical significance. The event helped preserve and share Mexican cultural heritage with future generations and with community members who may not have had the opportunity to experience this tradition in Mexico. PART III, LINE 29: We presented folklrico performances that celebrated the diverse traditions of Mexico through authentic choreography, music, and regional costumes. Our dancers showcased the artistry and cultural significance of folklrico while engaging audiences with energetic performances that highlighted the richness of Mexican heritage. Through these performances, we promoted cultural understanding, celebrated the positive contributions of the Mexican community, and fostered connections across diverse audiences. PART III, LINE 30: We provided free weekly folklrico rehearsals that were open to the public for individuals ages 14 and older, regardless of prior dance experience. Our instructors taught dance technique and choreography representing the diverse regions of Mexico while incorporating the history and cultural significance of the music, costumes, and traditions. Through these classes, participants developed their dance skills, strengthened their connection to their cultural heritage, and built confidence and self esteem in a welcoming community…
