It is the duty of ZOE PRAXIS (ZP) to address, educate, and provide help and support to alleviate and stop the growing epidemic of suicides, clinical anxiety, stress, depression, eating disorder, and self-harm in the young 18-35 adult population, (but not limited to this age bracket) predominantly those who lack resources, information, and support. Existential crisis and Emotional distress underlie suicides, and suicide attempts. Existential crisis encompasses questioning the significance of living, the worth of ones life, and existential issues such as belonging, place, value, and purpose. These issues express loss of meaning or purpose in life, loss of hope, and loss of will to live. Emotional distress includes issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, insomnia, self-harm, eating disorders, and addictions to substance abuse. Program
To overcome these barriers, ZP has developed several programs as follows: 1) The Outreach Ambassador Program offers free presentations to introduce ZP and its approach to the Process of Being that empowers individuals to realize the significance of their life and educate about the dynamics of life. We explain emotional intelligence, illustrate causes and effects of emotional distress, and enable individuals to realize that they have the power to resolve their issues. 2) The "Seminars and Workshops Program. The seminars examine specific issues to provide deeper understanding of their dynamics and to enable individuals to find a path to solving their problems. Workshops are for more in depth examination and solving of issues. 3) The Mentor Program offers private mentoring to provide additional help and a more private setting. 4) The Web Outreach program describes ZP and its services, provides a calendar of events, and includes web-presentations and web-seminars through its website and face book page. 2017 was dedicated to organizing Zoe Praxis and to developing free introductory presentations, along with developing some seminars and workshop programs.
