01What it does

What Women's Forum Inc does

Mission

Forum membership provides extraordinary women with the opportunity to network with a diverse array of peers, to help one another succeed and to share unique experiences. We believe the potential for cross-collaboration among our diverse membership and generations of members ignites progress and transformation for all of us.

As stated on its FY2022 Form 990.

Program

On its FY2022 return the organization reported a significant change in how it conducts a program.

On december 31st, 2022, women's forum, inc. Was dissolved and ceased conducting its program services. Its program activities were merged into those of the women's forum of new york, inc. (a related (c)(3) organization) effective january 1, 2023.

Its own explanation, from Schedule O of that return (Part III, line 3).

  1. Programming, membership development and networking opportunities - the organization hosts a wide variety of monthly programs featuring top speakers in the field of public affairs, industry, government, science. Women's forum is also a member of the international women's forum, which also offers programming and networking opportunities to the membership. During 2020, after covid appeared in new york, the forum pivoted to offering all of our programs virtually. As covid precautions were reduced, we transitioned back to the office and in person participation in 2021, and we offered a hybrid programming with both in person events and the continuation of virtual programming.
