What Women for Evanston Youth does

Mission

The north end mothers' club was established to enhance the community by providing annual scholarships to select evanston township high school students. $9,000 was awarded in 2024.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. Founded in 1911 the club's objective remains the same in 2025: to promote acquaintance, to make a united effort toward the development of friendly community service and to benefit youth wherever possible. Toward that end the club's three largest endeavors include support for the evanston township high school; the fortnightly social dance and etiquette program open to all 6th and 7th grades; and the support of numerous other activities. The club strives to serve the community by assisting established and new organizations and programs that enhance youth activities.
