01What it does

What Wisconsin Lgbt Chamber of Commerce does

Mission

The chamber will work to be the business advocate for the lgbtq business community in all of wisconsin.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Program

  1. During 2024, the wisconsin lgbt chamber accomplished its goal to create a more inclusive economy by expanding and strengthening programs and services for members statewide. This included growing our technical assistance offerings, such as launching a new virtual educational series, and enhancing signature programs like the business leadership academy, lgbtq workplace alliance, and entrepreneur bootcamp, which hosted additional trainings around the state. The chamber increased corporate engagement around supplier diversity and worked to promote the lgbte certification to businesses and helped open procurement opportunities. The chamber hosted numerous events to foster connection and ended the year with 667 business members.

The program described on its FY2024 Form 990.

How concentrated its funding is

WISCONSIN LGBT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE leans on a few funders — its largest provides 65% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

65% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund WISCONSIN LGBT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
