01What it does

What Westsound Youth Basketball Association does

Mission

Westsound Youth Basketball Association (WSYBA) is a non-profit organization formed to provide an opportunity for young people to improve their basketball skills. The goal is to provide boys and girls of all age, race, and skill level the opportunity to learn basketball fundamentals and be taught the game of basketball. It is the organization's belief that basketball is an ideal venue to teach attributes such as sportsmanship, discipline, cooperation, competition, self-confidence, and teamwork. The teaching of fundamentals and sportsmanship at an early age cannot be emphasized enough.

As stated on its FY2020 Form 990-EZ.

Program

Various basketball camps, clinics and training sessions were held in fiscal year. More than 125 youths benefited from the camps and clinics. Plan on increasing in size and frequency during next fiscal year.

Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
