01What it does

What Ujump Inc does

Mission

Ujump was formed for the purpose of providing mentoring and youth development to at-risk students located in the wichita, ks area. Ujump's activities commenced with the 2021-2022 school year. Each school year, ujump adds approximately 24 5th grade students to the program. Students added each school year remain in the mentorship program until graduating high school. Students selected to participate are identified by school administrators as children who lack an appropriate support structure outside of school, those who can benefit from development of social and interpersonal skills, and those who can benefit from the presence of a role model invested in their personal fulfillment. Outcome goals are to elevate academic performance, behavior & attendance; goal setting; self-esteem & confidence; positive choices; and academic support in the home.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

03Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

2021 → 2023: the base broadened from 1 funder to 3 funders, grant income rose $4k → $10k.

1 of 6 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 24% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $12k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
