Dedicated to the goal of providing optimal organ transplantation to all in need. Since its inception in 1987, the foundation sought to improve the care and treatment of those diagnosed with end-stage organ disease through advances in organ transplant medicine and expansion of services to transplant patients. Approximately 2,300 people benefited from programs.

Patient services-provided information about financing organ transplantation, organ donation material, monthly support groups, advocacy organization referrals, as well as serving as the patient's liaison to the university of miami transplant program. The organization also provided financial assistance to help patients with their emergency needs in housing, transportation and general maintenance. The organization underwrote several monthly transplant patient support groups and maintained a patient lounge on jackson memorial hospital's transplant floor.
