Mission
Our mission is to be the recognized authority in seminole county for information regarding high quality school readiness and child care services which allow parents to make informed choices when selecting childcare providers. We carry out our mission through collaborative partnerships with early education and care professionals and concerned community leaders to : enhance the quality of school readiness services in seminole county; promote community awareness of critical factors regarding early learning; provide scholarships for eligible low income children to attend child care centers; and increase participation in the voluntary prekindergarten program available to all four years olds in seminole county.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.
Programs
Voluntary pre-kindergarten: voluntary pre-kindergarten (vpk) is a free educational program for children residing in florida the year before they are eligible to enter kindergarten. The program helps children build a strong foundation using developmentally appropriate materials and practices. Elc seminole verifies participant eligbility for the program and issues a vpk certificate which is used to register the child at a vpk provider of the parent's choice from among public schools, private child care centers, family child care homes, or faith-based programs. In 2024-2025, the coalition served 3,043 children under the vpk program.
$11,404,370 spent41% of program spendingSchool readiness: the school readiness (sr) program is designed to assist families with the cost of early care and education. Families are eligible based on employment, pursuing higher education, seeking job skills or with children at risk of abuse and/or neglect. The sr program supports these families in accessing quality child care services for children ages birth to 5 and service for our children through age twelve after school and during school breaks and holidays. It affords families the opportunity to become economically self-sufficient and prepares their children for a path of learning in kindergarten and beyond. In 2024-2025, the coalition served 2,107 children under the sr program.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2019, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2019, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2024 to 2025, from $8.9M to $3.2M (−64%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
