01What it does

What The Ruben Amaro Sr Foundation does

Mission

We empower aspiring baseball players by providing them with opportunities to play competitive baseball and gain exposure to collegiate programs. We are focusing primarily on raising money now to offset team fees and expenses for youth players and not running teams. Our mission is to level the playing field for every student athlete deserving of collegiate showcase opportunities and tournament experience regardless of financial constraints.

As stated on its FY2026 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. We supported over 100 student athletes in our programs, enabling them to attend dozens of baseball showcase and competitive tournament events supported by professional baseball instructors and coaches. We helped send a record number of athletes to collegiate sports programs this year.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund THE RUBEN AMARO SR FOUNDATION.
