01What it does

What The Fusion Project does

Mission

The FUSIoN Project draws from cognitive behavioral theory to create weekly programming for girls to find their worth, their voice, and learn skills that will help them develop positive self esteem in their own lives and to help others realize their own worth as well.

As stated on its FY2019 Form 990-EZ.

Program

We offer free after school programs as well as camps offered throughout the year that allow any girl the chance to develop social skills, build character, and flourish, diminishing the chances of becoming a statistic. Our program is designed to give junior high girls a safe space to discover their value, confidence, and voice so that they can develop their self-esteem (belief in their worth and awareness of their abilities), which studies show makes it so they will be less likely to become an ever-growing statistic of victimization in our country. Victimization ranges from being bullied to being trafficked. We also offer community education to develop support and awareness. We served 82 girls in 2019 through summer camp and school programs.

The first program described on its most recent Form 990-EZ.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of THE FUSION PROJECT’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of THE FUSION PROJECT's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $141 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
