What The Althea Foundation does

Mission

Since 2003, The Althea Foundation has used a venture model to provide financial and nonfinancial support to people, ideas and initiatives that demonstrate ingenuity, social impact and social entrepreneurship. We address social challenges that have been underfunded, such as gender equity in entrepreneurship and stem, rare disease, mental health treatment and education. We partner with investors, entrepreneurs and philanthropists who use technology to scale and enhance social impact. Our work is focused in the us and the uk.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. The Althea Foundation funds new initiatives and established organizations it believes could benefit from additional financial help to ensure continued success and impact. The Althea Foundation serves not only as provider of capital but also a valued business partner.
