Teal wings of hope is dedicated to advancing the fight against ovarian and gynecological cancers by helping to position uab gynecology/oncology as a national leader in research and patient care. Through community-driven initiatives, we aim to promote awareness, fund groundbreaking research for early detection and treatment innovations, and provide compassionate support for patients and their families.

Conducted charitable and educational activities during 2025 focused on ovarian cancer awareness, patient support initiatives, and fundraising for gynecologic oncology research through uab medicine. Major activities included the a night of a thousand wings gala, participation in the uab medicine gt alabama race weekend charitable partnership, the annual day/night golf tournament, and community awareness campaigns during ovarian cancer awareness month. These programs increased public education, donor engagement, and community participation while helping generate support for the uab medicine gynecologic oncology division.
