What Staywell Senior Care does
Mission
To provide benefits to seniors determined to need a skilled level of care required under the state medicaid plan for coverage of nursing facility services under the deferral program of all inclusive care for the elderly ("pace").
As stated on its FY2021 Form 990.
Program
Staywell Senior Care serves the frail elderly of randolph, montgomery and moore counties by providing an alternative to nursing home placement through a network of highly coordinated care. Staywell Senior Care is a non-residential facility that includes an adult day health area, comprehensive medical services, and a rehab center. All of these services are accompanied by organized transportation, home health care, and medication management. Our goal is to improve the health and overall well-being of the frail elderly of this region, reducing hospitalizations and emergency room visits and avoiding premature admissions to nursing homes for those who can safely live at home with our support.
The first program described on its most recent Form 990, which lists programs largest first by expense.
The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2020 to 2021, from $4.2M to $0 (−100%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 1 of the last 5 reported years ran a deficit.

Leadership and staff
The officers, directors, trustees and key employees listed on each return. Joined and no longer listed compare each filing with the year before, matching people by surname and first initial; a year after a gap, or a roster under three people, has no comparison.
