What Southern Illinois Builders Association does
Mission
The Southern Illinois Builders Association (siba) was formed in 1945, to advance the construction industry by strengthening its members by enabling them to do collectively what they cannot accomplish on their own. It strives to offer a full range of services and programs in an effort to provide value to its members as "the voice of the construction industry in southern illinois". The siba is headquartered in o'fallon, il and it also maintains a satellite office in marion, il. The siba receives the largest portion of its revenues from membership dues and its online planroom also provides a large portion of its revenues.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2020, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2020, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2020 to 2021, from $2.1M to $2.4M (+14%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Government-grant reliance: 2021 8%. Grants only. Government contracts and fees sit inside program revenue.
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 0 of the last 6 reported years ran a deficit.
