What South Warren High School Band Boosters Inc does
Mission
Promotes academic excellence and student enrichment through supporting activities within the instrumental music program of south warren high school.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.
Program
The band booster club raises funds to promote excellence and student enrichment. The south warren high school band had a successful year. The marching band moved from 4a to 5a classification and competed against different bands than in previous years. The band traveled to several regional competitions and improved throughout the year. The band placed tenth at the regional competition in the spring. The band boosters raised funds by selling spartan cards, t-shirts, and stickers. Additionally, the booster organization operated the concession stand at south warren high school home football and basketball games, an important fundraiser activity. Donations to the band from the families of the band students also constituted an important source of funds. The concert band presented two traditional concerts and the jazz band also had a concert. The band played at home football games and the pep band played at home basketball games. The band also marched in the veterans day and christmas parades in downtown bowling green.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2017 to 2018, from $24k to $36k (+48%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
96% of SOUTH WARREN HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS INC’s revenue is contributions — more donation-reliant than the typical peer (65% for the typical peer).

Who funds it, year by year
Grant support over time, funder by funder — shade shows the grant size each year.
1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of SOUTH WARREN HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of SOUTH WARREN HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $50 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
