We strive to equip students with the necessary skills to excel academically, socially, and as leaders in their communities; creating a school community that promotes a biblical worldview and inspires students to freely express their christian beliefs.

Program

  1. In 2025 Smithtown Christian Academy served over 75 students and their families in McCreary County, Kentucky. We provided them with affordable access to high quality christian education for an average of $10 per day. Our literacy program helped many students learn to read and several others made significant progress from where they started. We employed several students to become more independent in their learning and ability to establish and attain goals. In chapel services each week our students took part in the choir, lead prayer, and shared their testimonies. Students also receive character training and take part in weekly Bible study helping them to grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Word of God. Including parents and giving them an active role in their child's education is important to us. We have multiple parent-teacher conferences, a process for receiving parent input on the direction of the school, and involve them in most school decisions. Staff includes four full

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of SMITHTOWN CHRISTIAN ACADEMY INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of SMITHTOWN CHRISTIAN ACADEMY INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $15k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
