01What it does

What Small & Gutsy Inc does

Mission

The mission of small &gutsy, inc. Is to create podcasts that feature, through an interview format, nonprofits and social impact organizations with revenues under 10 million dollars to support their marketing efforts by extending their reach and furthering their networks. The goal is to raise their visibility and support their sustainability.

As stated on its FY2022 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. We offer a pro bono podcast where we interview individuals from the organization who share the story and purpose of their organization to attract interest from potential donors, volunteers, clients and employees. It is a conversation celebrating the work of these organizations, so it helps the organization market their services in a new way by furthering their visibility and sustainability. The podcast is a product that can be used by these organizations to extend their networks of support. The organizations can share the podcast, include it in a grant application, send it to existing board members and supporters to share within their networks, and post it on their social media to bring more visibility to the organization. The podcast is secured on media platforms as well as the small & gutsy website page where anyone can listen to the episode. We also produce and provide video clips of the episode that are shared on social media and with the particular organization, so the organization has access to these materials for their use as well.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of SMALL & GUTSY INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of SMALL & GUTSY INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $9k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
